I first heard about Stationery Fest a couple of years ago, but in both 2024 and 2025, the stars never aligned, and I wasn’t able to go. But 2026 was the year I finally got there, and I’m so glad I did!
I went with my fiancé Jay, my Dad (a fellow stationery lover!), my Mum and my nephew, and we had a great time. We got to the venue (The Edge in Wigan) just before opening and there was a pretty long queue, but once the doors opened we got through pretty quickly, and were let loose in a huge room full of stationery!
I will say, the event was heavily dominated by stickers (which I love, so it wasn’t exactly a problem!), but there was still a fair amount of pens, notebooks and assorted other stationery on offer.
So let’s take a look at what I got:
Art From The Heart
The stall I bought the most from was Art From The Heart, which is a stationery shop in Harrogate. Unfortunately I’ve yet to visit the actual store, but I have bought a few times from their website, mainly my two Luddite pen cases.
They had a packed stall with a wide range of stationery items, and it very much felt like grabbing stuff from an incredible stationery buffet!
I got a purple Pentel Energel gel pen, a Uniball Zento gel pen, a Sanrio Pompompurrin Kura Toga mechanical pencil, and two Penco Clampy Pla-Clips (I was so excited to see they had the sparkly ones!). The mechanical pencil, in particular, is so adorable!
Kayztyle
As a traveller’s notebook enthusiast, I’m a big fan of Kayztyle’s products! They have been at the Northern Pen Show all three times I’ve attended, and I already had two of their lovely handmade journals.
And I now have three! I’d actually looked at a very similar notebook at the Northern Pen Show earlier this year, but ultimately decided to resist. I did regret it though, so I was really glad to find this at Stationery Fest!
As you can see, this is a bit more toned down than my other Kayztyle journals in terms of colour, but I just loved the patchwork look with the stitching down the front.
You’ll also notice the fountain pen charm – my parents bought this for me from a stall I unfortunately can’t remember the name of. But it looks great on my new notebook!
Moonlume
The minute I saw this stall I knew I’d be buying something – everything was so cute, and was exactly my vibe!
Jay actually ended up buying some stickers from this stall before I even spotted it, and got the Nintendo DS one for me. But I couldn’t resist getting some washi tapes as well: I chose Rainbow Desserts, Celestial Pastels and In The Clouds.
It turns out they also have a website, so I can definitely see myself buying some more stuff from them!
So I had a great time at Stationery Fest, and got a lovely haul that I’m really excited to use! I can definitely see myself going again next year.
It was quite a busy event, which I expected, since it was sold out. But it was well organised enough that it wasn’t too much of a problem. I did attend on the Friday rather than the Saturday, so I imagine Saturday was busier, but I’m so glad I got to go!
