I can’t believe we’re now in the final month of 2025! This year seems to have flown by, and I don’t know that I’m ready for it to be over yet. And I’m certainly not as ready for Christmas as I’d hoped to be by now!
However, stationery-wise, November has been a good month. I got some exciting fountain pen day bargains and I did plenty of writing as part of my 30 Day Writing Challenge (even though it didn’t go quite as well as I’d hoped).
Let’s start with the fountain pens:
Fountain Pens

As I’ve discussed previously, I bought the TWSBI Eco Amazonite and the Sailor 1911 Hoshizora for fountain pen day, so they’re two of my most used pens this month.

My Pilot Decimo has also seen some heavy use in November, as I used it in my writing challenge. I hadn’t had this inked for a little while and had somehow forgotten just how amazing this pen is to write with. I was just using it with a black Pilot cartridge, and it’s such a smooth writer!
Notebooks

The main notebook I’ve been using this month is my Rhodia Reverse book. I used it for my 30 Day Writing Challenge, not that I ended up writing all 30 of the days. I made it up to Day 19 and then fell off with it, and never really recovered.
I’ve still come out of it with a good chunk of this notebook filled with short stories, flash fiction pieces and poems though, so I’m not too upset about it. I’m hoping to start typing up and editing some of them throughout December.
Other Stationery

In other stationery news, I got a new Blackwing pencil recently, which I’m really loving. As an avid reader I couldn’t resist this Independent Bookstores edition, and I love the deep khaki green colour with the gold!
My other Blackwing pencil has the soft lead, so I’m glad this one came with the firm graphite, and I actually think I prefer this one. I don’t tend to use pencils too much, which is why my collection is much less extensive than my pen collection, but I’d like to get back into sketching, so having a good pencil or two seems like a must.
So how was your November? What have been some of your stationery favourites of the month?
