September has passed by in a bit of a blur. I’ve mostly just been working, but I did go on a rainy camping trip to the Lake District in the middle of the month, which was nice, despite the weather!
In terms of my stationery life in September, let’s talk about pens first!
Fountain Pens

At the end of August I went to the Newcastle Pen Show and bought the Kaweco Sport in Honey. I immediately found the perfect ink pairing for it in Pilot Iroshizuku To-Ro, and so it’s been one of my most used pens in the past month!
Other Pens

I discussed my quest to find the ideal travel pen in my post last month, and a commenter suggested the Zebra Sarasa Grande. Although I’d had one for a while, it had somehow never occurred to me as a travel pen, but I took it on my Lake District camping holiday, and I can confirm it was a great choice!
Notebooks

The biggest stationery excitement for me this month was getting a brand new Filofax. I’ve been coveting a Filofax Malden for ages, so when I spotted this Pear coloured one going for a bargain price on Amazon, I couldn’t resist!

I’ll still be using my trusty Pastel Spot Filofax, but it was so full that I’ve justified buying another one so that I can split the contents between the two. Both are personal size, and I now have my planner and general notes in the Pastel Spot, and my media commonplace book in the Malden. I’ll have to do a tour of my Filofaxes at some point!
So how was your September? What have been your stationery favourites of the month?
