Stationery Favourites – June 2025

I’m posting this a little later than I usually post my wrap-ups because I’ve been away for a few days. My fiancé and I have been on a camping trip to Wales, which was a nice start to the month of July!

But as far as June went, here are my stationery favourites of the month:

Fountain Pens

As I spoke about in an earlier post, I got two new fountain pens this month in the Cult Pens birthday sale: the TWSBI Eco Matcha Green, and the TWSBI Diamond 580 ALR Sunset. As my newest acquisitions I’ve been using them a fair bit, and have already had to re-ink the TWSBI Eco Matcha: I switched from Diamine Spring Green to a new ink I got, Pilot Iroshizuku Hotaru-Bi.

I’m still on my original fill of Diamine Ancient Copper with the 580, and I’m wondering if it’s because it’s giving me more fall vibes? As much as I love Ancient Copper, I’m considering swapping it out for a light, bright, summery orange.

Gel Pens

I also got 2 new gel pens this month, which I’ve been trying out. I’ve finally bought a couple of the famous MUJI gel pens, both in 0.3 size, one black, one grey. And I like them, but I’m not totally seeing the hype, as they’re a little on the scratchy side (possibly I should have bought the 0.5 size, but I usually prefer a finer line).

My trusty Uniball Ones are still my favourite gel pens, as they have a smooth writing experience, and nice bold ink.

Notebooks

I’ve been enjoying both my Filofax refillable notebook and my Filofax personal-size organiser this month. I’m loving the customisable nature of both, and am still tweaking and experimenting with my set-ups, which is fun.

My other favourite notebook of the minute is more of a July favourite really, as it’s my black TN that I’ve been using as a travel journal whilst I’ve been in Wales. But I just wanted to show off the cute new patch I got for it from Baum-kuchen!

So how was your June? What have been your recent stationery favourites?
